Country Living Guide
Country Living magazine has recently brought out a new rural guide to the Heart of England. Appearances in the guide are by invitation and we were very pleased to be approached. The guide covers hundreds of places of interest to visit in twelve counties and provides information on accommodation, where to eat and things to do as well as interesting shops. It even recommends a selection of country walks. Priced at £10.99 and with a foreword by Susy Smith, Country Living’s editor, it is an informative and conveniently-sized book to pack for your breaks in the country.
Herefordshire is the first area in the guide and we are on page 14. Many of the places mentioned in Shropshire, Worcestershire and the West Midlands are within easy reach of here, like the Malvern Hills, although there is plenty to keep people entertained in Herefordshire itself. Looking through one of our guest books this morning, I came upon a comment by Doreen, from St. Albans, who came to stay last Summer. She wrote “During my working life I’ve travelled all round the world, but I’d be happy to spend the rest of my life in Herefordshire.”
